The Story Behind Passy

From a young age, Cain loved football. Not just the game itself, but everything around it. The smell of wet grass, the sound of studs ticking in the locker room, the tension before kickoff. Football is a sport that brings people together, and one thing was certain: Cain wanted to be part of it.
Like so many others, it started with a dream to become a professional footballer. But it soon became clear that the passion was stronger than the talent. So he stuck to Sunday matches with a team of friends.
Yet one thing never faded: the desire to do more with football. Not just to stand on the sidelines, but to be part of the game. To contribute something. To make a difference.
And that opportunity came, unexpectedly, during a school project.
From Frustration to Idea
For the assignment, Cain had to write a business plan. Not just a theoretical exercise, but something personal. His thoughts went straight to the pitch: soles that ripped, boots that gave out halfway through the season. Buying new ones again and again. And always the same disappointment.
He asked himself: Why do we accept this as normal?
That is how the idea was born: football boots that don't give up before you do. Boots built for durability, not for quick profit. Quality before marketing. Design without unnecessary extras.
The idea was pitched and received the highest grade. But more importantly, it stuck. It didn’t feel like schoolwork. It felt like the beginning of something bigger.
From Sketch to Shoebox

Through the internet, Cain got in touch with Buddy, a contact in Vietnam who could connect him with the right factories. Not long after, Cain boarded a plane to Ho Chi Minh City. Full of hope, sketches under his arm, and an idea he couldn’t let go of.
Together with Buddy, he went from factory to factory, searching for a partner who truly understood the vision. A few months later, the first samples arrived.
And they were... awful. The quality was nowhere near what it needed to be.
Give up? Not for a second.

Cain went back to the drawing board. A new manufacturer, better materials, a different approach. Months of testing. Tweaking. Retesting.
Until one day, everything came together: the first Passy boot that met every requirement and was ready for the pitch.

Then, on a mild Tuesday afternoon in February 2025, the first delivery arrived.
A van pulled into the street, the tailgate opened and there they were. Boxes full of brand-new Passy boots. No more prototypes. No more sketches. No more ideas stuck in his head. But a real product. In his hands.
A dream? Yes.
But one that was earned through hard work.
What Makes Passy Different
Passy is the only football boot brand with Dutch roots.
And you can feel it. In the way we think, the way we design, and the way we deliver.
Our boots are built with the same vision that drives our brand: to last. Not for a moment, but for the long run. So you only buy new boots when you're ready, not because you're forced to.
The sole is not just glued but securely connected to the upper using a pin structure and double stitching. This ensures it stays firmly in place, even under heavy use. The upper is both durable and flexible, designed for long-lasting performance and comfort.
No hype, no colours that fade after a few matches. Just a boot that does exactly what you need, with a look that stands apart from the crowd. Not made for fashion, made for the game.
Who We Make Them For
Passy is for the striker who still gives everything at 38.
For the midfielder who loves playing back-to-back on a Sunday.
For the defender who knows his opponent by first name.
For those who play with passion, no matter the level.
Whether you play in the lower leagues or in packed stadiums, with Passy you belong.
Welcome to Passy FC.
